It is the member organization of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM), the Asian Fluid Mechanics Committee (AFMC, as one of its founding members), and the International Congress on Fracture (ICF). As a result, CSTAM has successfully sponsored several influential international congresses to be held in China, such as WCCM VI&amp; APCOM\u201904, ICTAM2012, ICF13 etc.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_354\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-354\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-354 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/en.www.cn100led.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/ICTAM2012.png\" alt=\"//www.cn100led.com/en/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/\" width=\"600\" height=\"345\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-354\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">23rd International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mehanics, August 19th-24th, 2012<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>CSTAM keeps regular contact with other international bodies, including American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), Japanese Society of Mechanical Engineering (JSME), and World Conference on Computational Mechanics (WCCM), Germany Association of Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM), Asian Pacific Congress on Fracture (APCF). The Center\u2019s aim is to promote the development and application of mechanics in Asia and the Pacific region. Since 2013, Theoretical &amp; Applied Mechanics Letters (TAML) has been appointed as the official publication of BICTAM.
